Intercollegiate Web Development Contest 2005 (I.C.W.D.I.C. 2005) is the first global competition organized by XITEX Software between colleges/universities’ teams. Our main aim is to help students to make their first step to their professional career in the field of copyrighting, web development and programming, marketing and SEO.

Being developed as a global event it becomes a good chance for institutes of higher education to:

• Get in touch with companies – key players on the world web and software development market
• Make their students begin their own business or prospective professional career
• Increase their rating among future enrollees
• Develop cooperation between other colleges/universities
• And of course have a new automated website

I.C.W.D.I.C. is the contest where colleges/universities’ teams are involved into their institution’s new website development. The main criteria of judgment are usability, design, content and wise usage of tools provided by Xitex WebContent M1, a content management system developed by XITEX Software.
